Schedule Shifts

DESOS allows you to create shifts which allows staff to also be scheduled. Scheduling shift can be done manually or by the venue through the venue portal which can request cover and set how many shifts they require. Once shifts are scheduled you can set preferred staff members, add rates, allocate head door supervisors and more. When staff members are allocated to shifts they can confirm or reject shifts within the mobile app or by SMS without the need for manually sending text or IM messages, making communication between staff more efficient and less time consuming.

Schedule Your Staff

Employed or self-employed staff can be scheduled by dragging and dropping onto defined shifts. Available staff are pulled from the Human Resources component if they are marked as compliant (i.e. license checks are completed, staff member is not on holiday and BS compliance / ID documents are all present and correct. Real time license check are carried out using the SIA database making sure all your staff are compliant while covering the shift.

Schedule Sub Contractors

Send blocks of shifts or individual shifts to your subcontractors to fulfill. The subcontractor’s portal will allow the subcontractor to provide contact details and license numbers. DESOS will validate the license and send a request for confirmation to the subcontractors staff member for confirmation. Once confirmed, company literature and venue details can be sent to the subcontracted staff member or subcontractor. All this automatically completed, so no need to longer chance subcontractors for information, giving you more time to run your business.

Automate Staff Scheduling

Got a permanent staff member assigned to a venue? If so, any member of employed or self-employed staff that regularly work at a particular venue, shift automation will take care of fulfilling the shift requirement on a week by week basis. SMS confirmation requests are still sent to ensure the employees are able to work.

Staff/Venue Reminders

SMS reminders can be sent to door supervisors to remind them about upcoming shifts and provide venue details either by email or by clickable link to staff area.

Easy Viewing

The scheduler allows you to easily view what shifts have been scheduled, accepted or rejected or are awaiting allocation, cutting down on the time it takes to track staff allocations.
